Current Study

Our study for 2010-11: St. Paul's Letter to the Romans from Catholic Scripture Study, International (CSS).

Scripture scholars consider the Letter to the Romans to be St. Paul's most deeply theological letter. With the exception of the four Gospels, no other document has had greater influence on Christianity. Touching all aspects of Christianity's major theological themes: sin, judgment, righteousness, justification, law, grace, sanctification, sonship, election, Baptism, freedom and slavery, and various moral issues, this letter speaks as powerfully to us today as it did to the Christians of the early Church.
